are made with the best moisture and corrosion resistant
materials possible. This includes ultra U.V. stabilized
and cold-resistant grade ABS plastic, as well as Poly-Carbonate
and ASA materials for the baskets and grills. Pro-mica
treated cones with treated Poly-Urethane surround edges and
dampers offer excellent salt-water resistance and acid/'alkali
resistance, and are anti-oil staining to extend speaker life.
This performance is expected in hard environments such as spas
and hot tubs, where tough chemicals and gases such as chlorine,
liquid shock and ozone normally accelerate deterioration.
Finally, all wiring is coated with a silicone based coating for
life extension.
